Chantal Mayer is an independent goldsmith, working from home in her studio/workshop in Gillitts, Durban. She creates unique pieces with an underlying organic feel. Although her specialisation was gold and platinum, she continues to work in silver which she loves, and has recently realised the exciting possibilities of pewter as a medium. Her bold pieces can now be manifested at a more affordable price. She is also bringing out shortly an out-of-the-ordinary range of pewter homeware items. Watch this space!
