I offer five different 5-day courses:

* Fundamentals of Jewellery Making Techniques (yes, for absolute beginners!);
* Fundamental Gemstone Setting Techniques (recommend you have some basic jewellery-making skills);
* Intermediate Gemstone Setting Techniques; and
* Fundamentals of Jewellery Lost Wax Casting (no previous skills required).
* Hand Crafted Jewellery Findings (recommend you have some basic jewellery-making skills).

These are semi-private courses as I can take only take two students per course. The small classes ensure that each individual gets the required attention and use of the facilities. Should you specifically request a private as opposed to a semi-private course (i.e. sharing the space and tuition with a second student), please notify me of this on booking so that suitable arrangements can be made.

The workshop is situated in the tranquility of the arborous and hilly suburb of Gillitts, Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal.

* 30 April – 4 May

The courses run from 8am – 5pm (Monday – Friday).

Should you wish to do one course after another, suitable arrangements can be made.

The cost of the Fundamentals of Jewellery-making Techniques, Fundamental Gemstone Setting Techniques and Intermediate Gemstone Setting Techniques courses are R7800. This includes 40 hours of personal tuition, the materials used in making up the pieces (which you get to take home with you), notes and tea/coffee. Lunch is not included in the fees.

I require a 50% deposit in order to secure your place on the course and the balance at least 7 days before the course starts.

My fees do not include accommodation, but I would be happy to send you a list of nearby B&Bs should you require one.
